Our story

My name is James Fawks. I’m the owner and lead software engineer of Fawks Software Consulting. I began my career in 2007, working for both large enterprises and startups since then. I was, and still am, a stay-at-home dad; taking care of my son and helping with school. I started Fawks Software Consulting as a way to keep my skills sharp and relevant. Since starting, I have helped small businesses with custom websites, creating small solutions to big problems, maintaining SaaS products, and consulting on development, software architecture, and infrastructure.

Through the years, I have developed a passion for helping small businesses find affordable solutions to their problems. I have found that many business owners have been burned in the past with undelivered promises and missed opportunities. I hate that there are a lot of snake oil salesmen out there, and I want to change that. My clients have valued my open communication and honest feedback. I want to help and see people succeed in their business endeavors.
