“I had been looking for a developer to work with for a couple year before I found James Fawks.
It is very refreshing for me to work with someone that does what they say they will while also bringing additional
value with insights into the industry of software development and also business development in general.
He has taken the time to get to know both my business and my needs as a business owner, and addressed them to
beyond expectations. Highly recommended.”

Simple and transparent pricing
Our pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees, and is designed for small businesses.
Every situation is different, and the actual cost for your website may vary depending on the project complexity, scope, and timelines.
Website Accessibility Audit
A comprehensive WCAG 2.1 AA evaluation of your website that combines automated and manual testing.
What's included
Automated scanning with industry tools
WCAG checklist manual testing
Keyboard-only navigation testing
Screen reader testing
Color contrast analysis
Report with source code mapping, severity levels, and code references
the complexity of interactive elements, such as buttons, forms, and tables,
and the current accessibility status of your website.
A simple information site, like those for most trades, will cost less than a complex website, like an e-commerce or restaurant ordering platform.
The price is directly proportional to the amount of time needed for the manual audit.
Do you audit the entire website?
The amount we audit is up to you. However, we do recommend you include the following in the audit:
the homepage,
primary user flows (for instance, contact forms),
primary layouts (for instance, blog layouts),
high traffic pages,
and pages with unique content.
How long does the audit process take?
Typically, the audit can take 1-3 weeks. However, it depends on the number of pages and your current website's accessibility status.
How long does remediation take?
Remediation can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks, or longer, depending on the number of errors discovered in the audit and the ease of correcting them. We will need full code access to ensure we can fix all issues.
In some rare cases, depending on the platform used for your website and the severity of some issues, a complete redesign and rewrite of the website may be needed.
Will you accept an outside audit for remediation?
No. Our remediation is an add-on to our audits.
Which version of WCAG should I use?
WCAG 2.1 AA is incorporated into the ADA Title II and is the standard for current compliance.
You can opt for WCAG 2.2 AA for future proofing, which adds nine new success criteria.
The higher the version number and level (A, AA, AAA), the more criteria to evaluate, but the better accessibility.
What is included in the audit report?
Our audits will include everything you and your developers will need:
issue description,
issue location,
WCAG criteria violated,
code snippets,
screenshots,
how to reproduce the issue,
and clear recommendations on how to fix the issue.
Will I receive support after the audit?
Yes. We will review the audit with you in detail once you have received the report and had time to review it.
We also offer Technical Support for an additional cost, should you require further assistance or wish us to consult with our team of developers.
Do audits include user testing?
No. At this time, we are not offering user testing.
What if my site constantly changes?
We recommend that stable websites do annual audits and that dynamic websites do quarterly audits on the content that has changed.
I'm redesigning my website. When should I do the audit?
After the redesign, auditing the old version would be a waste of time and money.
Do you guarantee I will not be sued for an inaccessible website?
No, we can not obviously guarantee that you will not be sued; no one can.
However, our audits are designed to help mitigate liability and show that, in good faith, you are actively working on creating an accessible website.
Do you provide any certificates, such as VPAT or ACR?
No, not at this time.
